Principles

LIMITED GOVERNMENT
Fewer government mandates for teachers, students, and parents. More local control.

PROFESSIONALS IN EVERY CLASSROOM
Certified, competent professionals in every classroom. We will welcome professionals into our secondary schools, especially for technical subjects.

PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY
A greater emphasis on personal responsibility for success. While "failure is not an option" is appropriate for primary schools, part of the picture for success in secondary schools includes the option to fail students who choose failure.

READING IS CRITICAL
Small reading groups for kindergarten through third grade. Children must read to an established standard to pass from third to fourth grade.
